1. Overview of Services

Temp-Pack provides mobile storage, cold storage, and related delivery, pickup, and rental services throughout Central Texas. These Terms apply to all services accessed through our website, phone, email, or in person.

2. Definitions

  • “Container” refers to any Temp-Pack mobile storage or cold storage unit.
  • “Customer” or “You” refers to any individual or organization renting or accessing Temp-Pack services.
  • “Rental Period” refers to the time a customer has possession of a container, including onsite storage or transport.

3. Service Eligibility

To use Temp-Pack services, customers must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Provide accurate contact, billing, and delivery information;
  • Have legal authority to store the goods placed inside the container.

Temp-Pack may refuse service to any customer for safety, legal, or logistical reasons.

4. Ordering & Delivery

4.1 Container Placement

Customers must ensure the designated delivery location is safe, level, and accessible. Temp-Pack is not responsible for damage arising from customer-provided placement instructions.

4.2 Access Conditions

Temp-Pack reserves the right to decline delivery or pickup if access is unsafe, obstructed, or not compliant with local codes.

5. Payment & Billing

  • Payments are due according to the invoice schedule provided at booking.
  • A valid payment method must remain on file throughout the rental period.
  • Late payments may incur fees as outlined on the invoice or rental agreement.
  • Promotional offers (including free-month promotions) apply only when all conditions are met and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

6. Rental Period & Responsibilities

6.1 Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe use of the container;
  • Securing the contents inside;
  • Using an adequate lock;
  • Preventing unauthorized access;
  • Complying with all Temp-Pack guidelines on prohibited items.

6.2 Container Care

Customers may not:

  • Alter, paint, or modify the container;
  • Move the container without Temp-Pack’s approval;
  • Use the container for unlawful, hazardous, or unauthorized purposes.

Damage beyond normal wear may result in repair or replacement charges.

7. Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, the following may NOT be stored in any Temp-Pack container:

  • Hazardous materials (chemicals, fuels, paints, explosives)
  • Perishable goods (except in an approved cold storage rental)
  • Illegal substances or stolen property
  • Live animals or plants
  • Firearms and ammunition
  • Cash, jewelry, high-value documents, or irreplaceable items
  • Items violating local, state, or federal law

Temp-Pack retains the right to inspect a container if there is reasonable suspicion of prohibited items.

8. Temperature-Controlled Containers

Cold storage units maintain commercial-grade temperature ranges, but customers are responsible for ensuring compatibility of stored goods. Temp-Pack is not liable for perishables damaged due to customer misuse, power outages outside our control, or failure to meet proper storage guidelines.

9. Limitation of Liability

Temp-Pack is not responsible for damage to stored goods caused by:

  • Extreme weather
  • Improper packing or securing
  • Pests
  • Mold, mildew, or humidity
  • Theft due to inadequate customer-provided locks
  • Customer negligence

Customers are encouraged to insure the contents stored inside containers. Temp-Pack does not insure stored items unless explicitly stated in writing.

10. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before scheduled delivery.
  • Temp-Pack may charge a cancellation fee for last-minute changes.
  • Refunds, if applicable, are issued only according to the policies outlined in the service agreement.

11. Access & Retrieval

If on-site storage is permitted, customers must maintain safe access to the container. Any obstacles preventing pickup may result in additional charges.

12. Termination of Service

Temp-Pack may terminate service if the customer:

  • Stores prohibited items;
  • Uses containers unlawfully;
  • Fails to pay invoices;
  • Violates these Terms.

Upon termination, Temp-Pack may retrieve the container at the customer’s expense.

13. Website & Digital Use

All website content, including images, branding, and text, is owned by Temp-Pack. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
The website may contain links to third-party sites; Temp-Pack is not responsible for their content.

14. Privacy

By using our services, you consent to Temp-Pack’s data practices as outlined in our Privacy Policy (available upon request or posted separately on the website).

15. Changes to Terms

Temp-Pack may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of updated terms.
