Services and choosing storage

What is TEMP-PACK Mobile and Cold Storage?

We provide mobile storage containers, refrigerated trailer rentals and related delivery and collection services in Central Texas. Our dry containers serve household and business goods; our refrigerated trailers serve goods needing an agreed cold storage arrangement. We plan the equipment, location and dates with you. Meet TEMP-PACK.

What is the difference between mobile storage and cold storage?

Mobile storage provides dry container space for belongings, equipment and approved stock. Cold storage uses refrigerated trailers with separate temperature, power and operating requirements. Start with the conditions your goods need, rather than choosing solely by the amount of space. Compare our cold storage service.

How does mobile storage work?

We deliver your container, you pack it during the rental period, and we arrange the next stage with you. The container can stay at your property, move to another address or enter an agreed facility storage arrangement. Our six steps cover delivery through unpacking and collection. Follow our storage process.

What can I use mobile storage for?

Our containers provide space during moves, renovations, decluttering and temporary transitions. Businesses use them for approved inventory, project equipment and event supplies. The right plan connects the goods, access needs, property and rental dates. See mobile storage uses.

Can your team help me choose a service before I request a rental?

Yes. Tell our team what you need to store, where the goods are going and when you need the space. We work through mobile storage, moving or refrigerated storage with you, including the equipment and next steps for a quote. Talk through your storage plan.

Where does TEMP-PACK provide service?

We are based in Buda and serve Austin, San Antonio and Central Texas communities. Our location pages help you find the relevant area. Give us the exact address and ZIP code so we can review the route, equipment and dates for your request. Find your service area.

Can I keep a container at my own property?

Yes, on site storage is a service we offer for homes, businesses and project sites. It keeps approved belongings close to the work. We review the delivery approach and standing area with you, while you arrange the property permissions needed for placement. Plan on site storage.

How is portable storage different from renting a self storage unit?

With portable storage, a container comes to the agreed property and can stay there or form part of a moving and storage plan. A self storage arrangement involves taking goods to the facility. Compare access, transport stages, rental period and the complete charges for your project. Compare portable and self storage.

How should I compare TEMP-PACK with another container provider?

Compare the offered container, usable space, rental dates, delivery and collection, loaded moves, storage location and total charges. Include access arrangements and responsibility for handling goods. Our comparison page provides a starting point; your quote defines the service offered for your addresses. Review the provider comparison.

Where can I see your equipment and customer reviews?

Our company pages show TEMP-PACK dry containers, refrigerated trailers and the TempTrack delivery system. The reviews page brings together customer feedback. Use the equipment images to understand our products and discuss the unit available for your own rental. Read customer reviews.

What is the PartnerPlus referral program?

PartnerPlus is our referral program for approved participants referring qualified mobile storage customers. The published program excludes cold storage and has qualification, rental duration and verified payment conditions. Review the program terms and approval process before making a referral. See PartnerPlus.

What is FleetPlus for moving companies?

FleetPlus is our dry container leasing program for moving companies serving their own customers. The partner sets the customer rental price, while our agreed services cover the container equipment, transport and upkeep. Lease commitments, transport charges, insurance responsibilities and pilot availability need a separate program agreement. See FleetPlus.

Containers, sizes and placement

What container sizes are available?

Our published mobile storage options include 8, 16 and 20 foot containers. The goods and packing plan determine the space needed. We review the available unit, usable dimensions, door access and loading limits for your rental. Review container sizes.

What size storage container do I need?

Start with an inventory, dimensions of large pieces and the items you need to retrieve during storage. Include aisles or working space in the packing plan. Room counts alone cannot establish fit because furniture, boxes and packing methods differ. Choose space around your goods.

Can I store furniture and household boxes together?

Household moves and renovations can combine furniture and boxed belongings in a container plan. Separate fragile items, protect surfaces and identify pieces needed first. Include oversized or sensitive items in the inventory so the offered unit and loading arrangements can be reviewed. Plan household storage.

Are the containers weather resistant?

Our mobile containers have a weather resistant design. Pack and close the container according to the rental instructions and tell us about moisture or temperature requirements for your goods. Our published terms describe responsibilities and limits for weather, humidity and stored contents. Read storage responsibilities.

Is a dry storage container climate controlled?

Dry container storage and a temperature controlled storage arrangement are different services. Tell us the temperature and humidity conditions your goods need before choosing equipment. We review any offered facility conditions separately; renting a dry container does not establish a controlled environment. Discuss the conditions your goods need.

Can I place the container on the street or in my driveway?

We review the proposed position and delivery access with you. Check who can approve private property placement. For a street, check city requirements and any HOA conditions before arranging delivery. The agreed position must work for the equipment and access needed. Plan the container position.

What surface and space are needed for delivery?

Our terms require a safe, level and accessible placement area. Share the proposed position, surface and surrounding access with us. We review the offered equipment and route before delivery; measurements and clearances need to match that equipment. Review placement responsibilities.

What should I tell you about gates and overhead obstacles?

Include gate openings, turns, slopes, overhead wires, branches and other obstructions in the delivery discussion. Tell us about restrictions along the approach as well as at the standing area. This helps our team review access and plan the equipment movement. See how our delivery system works.

Who arranges property or venue permission?

The person arranging the rental needs authority to use the proposed space. Coordinate with the owner, landlord, venue, city or HOA as relevant before delivery. Our equipment and access review works alongside those permissions. Review the delivery planning stage.

Can I move the container myself after delivery?

Our terms require company approval before a container is moved. Contact our team when its position or destination needs to change so we can review access, equipment, timing and transport charges. The same terms restrict alterations, painting and modifications. Read container use conditions.

Delivery, dates and collection

How far in advance should I schedule delivery?

Contact us when you know your preferred dates, especially for a move, renovation or event with a set timetable. We review equipment availability, location and access, then agree the arrangements. For an urgent need, tell our team the deadline and goods involved. Discuss delivery dates.

Can you help with an urgent storage request?

Tell us the address, contents, deadline and immediate access needs. We review the available equipment and arrangements with you. For a San Antonio emergency storage request, our dedicated page explains the information needed to plan the rental. Plan emergency storage.

Does an online request reserve my container or delivery date?

A request starts the quote conversation. Our team works through equipment, availability, site details, full charges and rental arrangements with you before booking. Keep related movers, contractors and receiving contacts informed once the arrangements are agreed. See how our team handles requests.

How long can I keep the container?

We discuss the rental period around your project and available equipment. Include time for loading and unloading, not only the move or construction dates. Contact us about an extension before the agreed collection date so we can review availability, charges and the updated plan. Plan the rental period.

What is TempTrack?

TempTrack is our mobile container lifting system for delivery and collection. Its design supports level handling, and wireless operator control lets our operator manage the lift while positioning the container. The site and offered equipment still determine the delivery arrangements. See TempTrack in use.

Is refrigerated trailer delivery handled the same way as a dry container?

Our mobile containers and refrigerated trailers are different equipment. TempTrack describes our container handling system; a trailer rental has its own placement, power and operating arrangements. We plan the method for the equipment you are renting. Compare the service processes.

What should be ready on delivery day?

Prepare the agreed area, clear the access route and have the site contact available. Keep the placement approval and delivery instructions ready. Our terms allow delivery to be declined where the site is unsafe, obstructed or unsuitable for the agreed equipment. Read delivery requirements.

How do I arrange collection when I finish loading?

Tell our team the container is ready and explain the next stage: continued storage, a loaded move, facility storage or empty return. Share any changes to access or dates before collection so the equipment movement can be arranged. Follow the collection stage.

What happens after I unpack the container?

Once unpacking is complete, arrange empty container collection within your rental plan. Keep access clear for the return visit and tell us if goods remain inside or the dates need to change. Our six step process ends with unpacking or the agreed storage stage. Plan the end of your rental.

Can I change the date, address or storage stage?

Contact our team with the revised dates, addresses and next stage. Changes can affect equipment availability, transport, storage and the quote. Our terms require cancellations at least 48 hours before scheduled delivery. Late changes may incur fees, and refunds follow the service agreement. Review changes and cancellations.

What happens if the collection route is blocked?

Keep the agreed collection route and container access clear. Tell us about parked vehicles, locked gates, construction or other new obstructions before the visit. Our terms explain that obstacles preventing collection may result in additional charges. Review pickup access responsibilities.

Quotes, pricing and payment

How much does storage cost?

Your quote reflects the equipment, rental period, transport location or distance and any facility storage arrangement. Use our pricing pages to start the discussion, then review the complete quote for your goods, addresses and dates. See mobile storage pricing.

Should I choose Moving, Storage or Both on the request?

Choose Moving for goods changing address, Storage for a storage arrangement, or Both for a move with a storage stage. Include the destination when the plan involves transport and tell us where storage is needed. These choices help describe the whole job. Choose the request that fits your plan.

What information helps you prepare a mobile storage quote?

Have your contact details, starting address and ZIP code, inventory, preferred delivery date and expected period ready. Add the receiving address for a move, any storage gap, site restrictions and collection needs. The full plan lets us review equipment and transport together. Prepare your quote details.

Is there a delivery or pickup fee?

Delivery and collection charges form part of the quote for the agreed arrangement. Review both transport legs, the locations and any additional equipment or services. A rental price and a complete delivered rental total cover different parts of the plan. Review the complete rental cost.

What costs should I include when comparing storage quotes?

Include equipment rental, initial delivery, collection, any loaded move, facility storage and later redelivery. Review tax, additional equipment and separately arranged help or materials too. Compare the same addresses, goods and rental period across quotes. Compare the full storage plan.

How is refrigerated trailer pricing different?

Cold storage pricing has its own equipment and rental periods. Review the base rental alongside delivery or customer collection, return arrangements, tax and any additional equipment. Give us exact dates so the quote covers the required rental rather than an assumed period. Review cold storage pricing.

What payment methods are accepted?

Talk with our team about the current methods for your rental, including card or ACH arrangements and any business invoicing options. Your invoice and rental agreement set the payment schedule. Our terms require a valid payment method on file during the rental. Review payment conditions.

When is payment due?

The invoice sets out the payment schedule for your booking. Review the due dates and any late fee provisions in the invoice and rental agreement before booking. Our published terms connect payment to those agreed documents. Read the payment terms.

Can I combine a promotion with another offer?

Promotions apply when their stated conditions are met. Our terms say offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. Have our team check the offer against your equipment, dates and complete quote before you rely on a promotional price. Review promotional conditions.

Will a longer rental or extension use the same rate?

Have us quote the dates you need and review how an extension would be charged. Rental periods, equipment availability and added transport or storage can change the total. Your agreement defines billing and the end of the rental. Discuss dates and quoted charges.

Which request should I use for a refrigerated trailer?

Use our separate cold storage request. It collects the rental details for a refrigerated trailer, including delivery or pickup preference. The mobile storage form below is for dry storage and moving; our team confirms the offered equipment and arrangements before booking. Request cold storage.

Packing, contents and access

Do you offer packing or loading help?

Ask our team about referrals for moving, packing or loading help in your area. The provider’s availability, work, price and schedule need to be agreed separately. Tell us what help you need alongside the container rental. Discuss help with your rental.

How should I organize the container for loading?

Plan the load around the goods, offered unit and agreed loading instructions. Protect fragile belongings, keep an inventory and separate items you will need first. Include the loading and unloading time in your rental dates. Review the packing stage.

Can I access my items while they are in storage?

For facility storage, arrange an access appointment with our team. We discuss the offered location, access times and handling or transport arrangements. At your own property, plan the container position and loading order around the belongings you need to retrieve. Plan storage and access.

How do I plan access to business stock during a project?

Separate stock that can stay packed from goods staff need during trading or work. Identify who holds keys, who records retrievals and how replenishment reaches the container. Review placement and access alongside the rental period. Plan inventory access.

What items are prohibited?

Our terms prohibit hazardous chemicals, fuels, paint, explosives, illegal or stolen items, live animals or plants, firearms or ammunition, cash, jewellery, high value documents and irreplaceable items. Perishable goods are accepted only in an approved cold storage rental. Review the full list before packing. Read prohibited contents.

Can I put food in a mobile storage container?

Perishable goods require an approved cold storage rental under our terms. Use the refrigerated service to discuss the product, temperature needs, power and handling arrangements. Dry storage for event equipment or shop displays is a separate service. Plan refrigerated goods storage.

What should I do with heavy or oversized items?

Give us the item dimensions, weight information and handling needs before loading. We review the offered container, door access, loading limits and transport plan. A nominal container size alone does not establish that a particular heavy or large item fits the rental. Review the space you need.

Can I store sensitive equipment or documents?

Describe the goods and required conditions before choosing storage. Dry space does not establish temperature or humidity control, professional records custody or regulatory approval. Our terms also exclude high value documents and irreplaceable items; review the permitted contents for the rental. Check the contents conditions.

Can I load wet or fire affected belongings?

Qualified restoration personnel need to assess affected goods and any preparation they require. We must agree the permitted contents and accepted condition before loading. A storage rental provides space; restoration assessment, drying, cleaning and decontamination are separate work. Plan assessed restoration contents.

How can I make unpacking easier?

Keep an inventory and identify the goods needed first at the destination. Plan loading around that retrieval order and allow time to unpack before empty collection. Tell us the next address or storage stage when arranging the transport. Plan loading and the next stage.

Locks, insurance and rental responsibilities

Are my stored items insured?

Our terms encourage customers to insure stored contents. TEMP-PACK does not insure stored items unless explicitly stated in writing. Review your rental agreement and ask your insurer about the cover, limits and exclusions for your goods and storage arrangement. Read the insurance and liability terms.

What security arrangements apply to facility storage?

We review the offered space and its access and security arrangements with you. Include any conditions needed for your goods, such as temperature or humidity, in that discussion. The specific facility arrangement and rental responsibilities form part of the agreement. Discuss facility storage arrangements.

Who is responsible for locking the container?

Our terms make customers responsible for securing contents, using an adequate lock and preventing unauthorized access. Follow the agreed locking and collection instructions, and make sure the people retrieving goods understand who controls the keys. Review contents security responsibilities.

Who can approve and sign for the rental?

Our terms require customers to be at least 18, provide accurate contact, billing and delivery details, and have legal authority over the goods. For a company or shared project, identify the approving renter, payer and site contact before booking. Read rental eligibility.

Can a moving company or contractor load goods for me?

A crew can be part of the project, with the work agreed separately. Set out who approves the rental, handles goods, holds keys and receives the container at each stage. Keep the crew’s service scope and our equipment rental arrangements clear. Plan crew and customer responsibilities.

Can I attach fixtures or alter the container?

Our terms restrict alterations, painting and modifications. Discuss proposed equipment or site needs with us before changing the container. Damage beyond normal wear may be charged under the rental conditions. Review container care conditions.

What happens if prohibited goods are loaded or rental terms are breached?

Our published terms provide for termination for prohibited or unlawful use, nonpayment or other breaches. Review the contents rules before loading and contact us promptly about a problem so the next steps can be addressed under the agreement. Read the rental conditions.

Where can I discuss a problem or question about my rental?

Contact TEMP-PACK with your rental details, location and the issue or change you need help with. Our team works through the equipment, delivery, storage and next arrangements with you. Keep your invoice and agreement available for questions about charges or responsibilities. Contact our team.

Moving and business projects

Do you move containers long distance?

We provide local container transport. Give us both addresses, the goods and dates so we can confirm the route, equipment and quote. For a longer distance request, discuss the route with us before making arrangements. Discuss container transport.

Can I store belongings between moving out and moving in?

Yes, a move can include an agreed storage stage between addresses. Give us both property dates and the receiving address when known. We plan the loaded move, storage location, access and redelivery as separate stages in the complete quote. Plan a move with storage.

How can storage help with home staging?

Separate everyday belongings from goods removed for photographs and showings. Decide what can stay packed, where the container should stay and how the later move will work. The renter, agent and any staging help can coordinate the plan around the property timetable. Plan home staging storage.

How do I plan storage during a home remodel?

Separate client belongings from approved tools and materials, and plan the container around the work stages. Identify who needs access, who holds keys and when goods return indoors. Tell us about the materials before loading so contents acceptance can be reviewed. Plan remodeling storage.

What should restoration companies include in a container request?

Include the assessed inventory and condition, project address, work stages, responsible customer and expected dates. Qualified restoration personnel handle assessment and preparation; we review the accepted goods, equipment, placement, storage and transport side of the plan. Plan restoration storage.

Can retail stores use containers for seasonal inventory?

We plan dry storage for approved seasonal stock, promotional goods, racks and displays. Separate goods staff need during trading from stock that can stay packed. Include replenishment, delivery access and collection of remaining inventory in the dates. Plan retail inventory storage.

How can a business plan storage during an office move?

Identify packed furniture and equipment, items staff still need and the conditions required by sensitive goods. Appoint a contact to approve placement, access and changes. Plan the departure address, storage stage and receiving address together. Plan office moving storage.

Can event planners store supplies at the venue?

Our dry containers can form part of a plan for approved furniture, decor, supplies and event equipment. Coordinate receiving, setup, staff access, breakdown and collection with the venue. Food needing refrigeration uses our separate cold storage service. Plan event equipment storage.

Can moving companies arrange containers for client jobs?

We work through the container and storage side of a client plan with the parties involved. Identify rental authority, payer, handlers, keys and handovers. A client rental and any separate commercial program require their own agreed scope. Plan mover coordinated storage.

What do universities need to arrange campus storage?

Identify the authorized purchaser, department or goods owner, receiving contact and people allowed access. Include academic dates, campus permissions and ordinary belongings or equipment in the request. Food service refrigeration follows the separate cold storage route. Plan campus storage.

How can senior living facilities plan dry storage?

Separate ordinary furniture, belongings and project equipment from food service or specialist materials. Identify the goods owner, approving facility contact and people allowed to retrieve items. Plan placement, resident and staff routes, project dates and return of the belongings together. Plan senior living dry storage.

Refrigerated trailers and cold storage

What is refrigerated trailer storage used for?

Our refrigerated trailers provide temporary cold storage for agreed goods. Restaurants, caterers, events and other businesses use this separate service for planned projects or equipment disruptions. We review the product, required conditions, volume, site, power and rental dates. Review business cold storage uses.

Can I rent a freezer as well as refrigerated storage?

Tell us the temperature each group of goods needs and the amount to be stored. We review the offered equipment and operating arrangement for chilled or frozen requirements. Separate condition groups need an equipment plan; do not treat one trailer as simultaneous temperature zones. Discuss refrigerated or frozen goods.

How do I choose the right refrigerated trailer size?

List the goods, packaging, load dimensions and retrieval pattern. Space for access and the offered loading instructions affect usable storage. We review the available trailer and load with you rather than using a nominal size as a guaranteed pallet or product capacity. Plan the cold storage load.

What power information do you need before a cold rental?

Tell us what power is available at the proposed position, where the connection is and who is responsible for the site supply. We review the offered unit’s connection needs, cable route and any additional equipment before arranging the rental. Review site and power planning.

Can I use a generator with the refrigerated trailer?

Discuss generator needs as part of the equipment and site plan. Review what is included, what is optional and who supplies and operates any additional equipment. The offered trailer and site supply determine the agreed setup; our team needs those details before delivery. Review included and optional equipment.

Where can the refrigerated trailer be positioned?

Plan a suitable standing area, delivery approach, loading route, door access and power connection with us. Coordinate the position with the property or venue contact. Keep food handling routes, staff access and the operating period part of the site discussion. Plan trailer placement.

Can I load food as soon as the trailer arrives?

Include startup, handover and the agreed operating checks before loading in your schedule. Arrival and loading readiness are separate stages. Agree who checks the required conditions and who authorizes loading for your goods. Plan readiness before loading.

Who monitors the trailer during the rental?

Agree who handles operating checks, temperature monitoring, loading practices and reporting a power or equipment problem. Name the responsible contacts for the rental period, including any overnight use. Those responsibilities belong in the operating plan alongside equipment and dates. Review operating responsibilities.

Can I collect the refrigerated trailer instead of requesting delivery?

Our cold request includes delivery and pickup preferences. Tell us which arrangement you want so we can review the available trailer, collection and return plan. Customer collection needs agreed vehicle, towing, driver and rental arrangements before pickup. Send a cold storage request.

Does a trailer rental include transporting loaded refrigerated goods?

Stationary cold storage and transport of loaded goods are separate requests. Tell us about any movement you need before booking. Towing suitability, loaded transport and maintaining the required conditions in transit need their own review rather than being inferred from a trailer rental. Plan catering storage and transport separately.

Can you help when a restaurant refrigerator or walk in fails?

Tell us the goods, required conditions, location, power and immediate deadline. We review available equipment and the rental arrangements with you. The restaurant or its qualified food personnel remain responsible for assessing affected food and deciding how it can be handled. Plan an emergency refrigeration request.

How does a restaurant plan cold storage during renovation or seasonal demand?

Separate the goods needing temporary space from everyday retrieval needs. Include repair or renovation dates, stock deliveries, staff access and the end of the rental. We plan the trailer, position, power and collection around that working schedule. Plan restaurant refrigeration storage.

What should caterers include in a cold storage request?

Include the menu or product groups, required conditions, preparation and service dates, venue and expected retrieval pattern. Plan loading readiness, staff access and final unloading. Tell us separately about any need to transport food between locations. Plan catering cold storage.

How long should I book refrigerated storage for an event?

Include receiving, setup, startup and operating checks, service, any overnight use, unloading and collection. The public event hours alone may not cover the full rental. Coordinate the venue’s power and access period with our delivery and return arrangements. Plan the full event rental period.

Can a BBQ competition use a refrigerated trailer?

Discuss the competition location, product groups, required conditions, preparation timetable and retrieval needs. Coordinate the trailer position and power with the event organizer, and plan unloading and collection after the competition. Food handling decisions remain with the responsible operator. Plan competition cold storage.

How should hotels plan temporary refrigeration?

Include kitchen, banquet or event goods, staff retrieval patterns and the dates of the project or equipment work. Coordinate the trailer with the property’s receiving contact, operating routes and power. We review equipment and rental arrangements for that specific property. Plan hospitality refrigeration.

What does a sporting event need to plan for cold storage?

Separate the cold goods from dry event equipment and identify the people responsible for each. Include venue access, setup, service, power throughout use and final unloading. The event contact and our team coordinate equipment, position and collection. Plan sporting event refrigeration.

Can cold storage be used for healthcare or other specialist materials?

Give us the exact materials and required conditions before planning a specialist rental. We review the request with you; ordinary food service storage is a different task from clinical, pharmaceutical or regulated material storage. Required approvals and equipment suitability must be established for the specific use. Discuss specialist cold storage requirements.

How can a campus dining operation plan temporary refrigeration?

Coordinate the campus address, approved receiving contact, delivery access and dining schedule. Include goods, required conditions, kitchen work, staff retrieval and power throughout the rental. This food service plan is separate from storage of laboratory or research materials. Plan campus food service refrigeration.

Can senior care dining services request refrigerated storage?

Our food service enquiry route covers dining operations at senior care and assisted living facilities. Include meal times, kitchen work, food storage needs and staff access when planning equipment and dates. Medication and clinical materials need separate technical assessment and approval. Plan senior care food service refrigeration.

Ready to plan your mobile storage rental?

Tell us what you need to store, where and when. We work through the container, dates, delivery and next storage stage with you.

Use this request for mobile storage. For a refrigerated trailer, use our cold storage request. We confirm equipment, availability and the full arrangements before booking.
